Overview
Steam Hardware Stock Tracker is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and do not sell, share, or monetize your personal information in any way.
Data We Collect
Website Visitors
When you visit our website, we do not collect:
- Personal identification information
- Email addresses
- Cookies for tracking purposes
- Analytics or behavioral data
The website is served through AWS CloudFront, which may log standard access data (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of its infrastructure. These logs are used solely for security and operational purposes and are automatically deleted.
Telegram Subscribers
If you subscribe to our Telegram alerts through Tribute:
- Your Telegram username and ID are processed by Tribute for subscription management
- Payment information is handled entirely by Tribute — we never see or store your payment details
- We do not have access to your personal data beyond what Telegram publicly shows in the channel
Third-Party Services
This service uses the following third-party providers:
- AWS (Amazon Web Services) — Infrastructure hosting (CloudFront CDN, Lambda, DynamoDB). Subject to AWS Privacy Policy.
- Tribute — Subscription payment processing. Subject to Tribute's Terms.
- Telegram — Alert delivery platform. Subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — Web font delivery (Inter). Google may collect anonymized usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Data Storage
Stock status data (product availability, prices, timestamps) is stored in AWS DynamoDB. This is publicly available information sourced from the Steam API and does not contain any personal data.
Historical stock data is automatically deleted after 90 days.
Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal data from website visitors, there is typically no personal data to request, modify, or delete. If you are a Telegram subscriber and wish to have your data removed, you can:
- Cancel your subscription through Tribute at any time
- Leave the Telegram channel
- Contact us for any data-related requests
Children's Privacy
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
