Built by a gamer who got tired of refreshing
This project exists because I wanted a Steam Controller and couldn't buy one. So I built a system that watches the store for me — and for you.
Who I Am
I'm Ievgen Golubiev — a DevOps engineer and infrastructure specialist with 20 years in IT. I build reliable, scalable systems for a living. Cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD pipelines — that's my day job.
Outside of work, I'm a gamer and a hardware enthusiast. I love modern devices, and when Valve keeps releasing amazing hardware that's perpetually out of stock in my region, it drives me a little crazy.
Why This Project
I wanted a Steam Controller. Simple as that. But every time I checked the store — sold out. I'd check again the next day — still sold out. By the time someone mentioned a restock on Reddit, it was already gone.
So I did what any engineer would do: I built a system to solve the problem. A serverless architecture on AWS that monitors the Steam API in near real-time, detects stock changes, and pushes instant alerts to Telegram.
It started as a personal tool. Then I realized other people have the same problem — so I made it public.
